AN ITALIAN BOY’S CONFESSION <\/strong><\/font> <\/p>\n

‘Bless me Father, for I have sinned.
I have been with a loose girl’. <\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n

The priest asks, ‘Is that you, little Joey Pagano ?’ <\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n

‘Yes, Father, it is.’ <\/strong><\/font> <\/p>\n

‘And who was the girl you were with?’ <\/strong><\/font> <\/p>\n

‘I can’t tell you, Father. I don’t want to ruin her reputation’. <\/strong><\/font> <\/p>\n

“Well, Joey, I’m sure to find out her name sooner or later so you may as
well tell me now. Was it Tina Minetti?’ <\/strong><\/font> <\/p>\n

‘I cannot say.’ <\/strong><\/font> <\/p>\n

‘Was it Teresa Mazzarelli?’ <\/strong><\/font> <\/p>\n

‘I’ll never tell.’ <\/strong><\/font> <\/p>\n

‘Was it Gina Capelli?’ <\/strong><\/font> <\/p>\n

‘I’m sorry, but I cannot name her.’ <\/strong><\/font> <\/p>\n

‘Was it Cathy Piriano?’ <\/strong><\/font> <\/p>\n

‘My lips are sealed.’ <\/strong><\/font> <\/p>\n

‘Was it Rosa DiAngelo, then?’ <\/strong><\/font> <\/p>\n

‘Please, Father, I cannot tell you.’ <\/strong><\/font> <\/p>\n

The priest sighs in frustration.
‘You’re very tight lipped, and I admire that.
But you’ve sinned and have to atone.
You cannot be an altar boy now for 4 months.
Now you go and behave yourself..’ <\/strong><\/font> <\/p>\n

Joey walks back to his pew,
and his friend Franco slides over and whispers, ‘What’d you get ?’ <\/strong><\/font> <\/p>\n
